Thinka for KNX

I would like to thank you all for a kick ass product that once again changed our way of living in Sweden!

I’m a proud father to 3 kids ranging from 5->9 years old and together with my wife we try to manage our hectic life and I will clearly state that our Thinka saves us a lot of work, giving us a smoother life. My oldest son just tells Siri to turn off the light every night and to light up the library when there is time for study! The Thinka and Homekit locations letting us skip the home keys when we park the car at home after a busy day! The home is lit up and we feel welcome home! And it work all the time, not just sometimes! F$**ing awesome!

We are living on the country side. The house is fully KNX equipped, with lightning, heating, dehumidifiers, weather stations, door/window contacts, door locks, night mode lightning, doorbell solutions with cameras, notifications when mailman puts stuff in our postbox outside. Also indoor/outdoor sensors used to letting us now if unwanted guests is detected, and to control the night lightning scenes..amongst lots of other stuff. :)

I have done all of the KNX programming myself, the system is partly managed by a GIRA HomeServer, but as time goes the Thinka and HomeKit replaces this 20st century solution. I have promoted the Thinka solution to 3 of my friends/colleagues which know bought themselves a Thinka, I’ve been configuring the Thinkas for them with great success. One of them controlling a complete watering system for a beautiful garden, works flawlessly!

Thinka for KNX macht die Steuerung meines Smart Homes so viel intuitiver. Die Integration mit verschiedenen Sprachassistenten funktioniert reibungslos, und das Einrichten war überraschend einfach – keine komplizierte Programmierung nötig. Besonders gefällt mir, dass meine Daten lokal bleiben und nicht in der Cloud gespeichert werden. Die Möglichkeiten zur Automatisierung sind großartig und machen richtig Spaß. Der Preis ist zwar nicht ganz niedrig, aber für die gebotenen Funktionen und die Flexibilität finde ich es gerechtfertigt.
