Thinka introduces automatic bus monitoring

KNX Bus Monitoring gives you instant insight into the activity on your KNX installation. Thinka passively listens to the KNX bus and automatically discovers every group address and device it sees. Monitoring is completely read-only—no KNX frames are transmitted—so your installation continues to operate exactly as before.

Beyond verifying that your KNX interface is receiving bus traffic correctly, Bus Monitoring makes configuring Thinka faster and easier. Every discovered group address is added to Thinka's address database, making it available for autocomplete throughout the configuration process. This helps you select the correct addresses without having to look them up manually.

To make project completion even simpler, Thinka also highlights group addresses that have been discovered but are not yet used by any configured accessory. This makes it easy to spot unused addresses, identify missing mappings, and complete the configuration of an existing KNX installation with confidence.
