ETS import got better, much better

We have listened to our system integrators and resellers. Most of you are using ETS for the provisioning of the KNX network. Since 10 years we have been supporting using this same ETS project file for setting of the configuration for Thinka as well, and we've seen that some of you struggle with the initial setup of Thinka.
We feel we have greatly improved the import from ETS:

Incremental import

  • We show a preview of the Rooms and their Accessories, so you can select only the ones that you need to be imported into Thinka
  • You can do this many times, so for instance you'll do the Living Room first, and in the next import the other rooms

Smarter recognition

  • We recognize more Rooms and Accessories and support names in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Chinese
  • We better map these accessories and their group address to the right HomeKit devices

Start from scratch

  • You can restart with a completely clean Thinka, we'll empty all rooms and accessories, so you can easily experiment
