How do I configure my humidifier?

Adding the humidifier

Add a service and choose Humidifier as the service type. Give it a name, such as Kitchen humidifier.

Group objects

Enter the group addresses for group objects. Fields marked with * are required.

Active (DPT 1.001): switches the humidifier on and off.
Current relative humidity (DPT 9.007): the humidity measured in the room, from the humidifier itself or from a separate humidity sensor
Target humidity (DPT 9.007): the humidity the humidifier should reach.
Humidifying status (DPT 1.001, optional): tells whether the humidifier is humidifying at this moment.

Control from Apple Home

Your humidifier appears in Apple Home as a humidifier. You can switch it on and off, see the current humidity and set the target humidity, and use it in scenes and automations.
