Do I need to buy a KNX IP Gateway?

No, you can buy or upgrade to a Thinka KNX Pro. It has a built-in IP gateway. See Smart Support for more info.

You can use this IP Gateway to manage your KNX network via ETS.

We strongly discourage opening this IP Gateway to the Internet, use our VPN Server for that.
